Why do you network? There is a new network group starting up every day. I am waiting for (or should I start?) a 3am group for all those insomniacs who have their most creative ideas in the middle of the night. I suppose this one would work better on line, particularly through the winter months! How do you decide which is the best network for you to attend. How do you choose? Is it early morning, lunch time, afternoon tea, dinner - do you prefer to have them with or without food? What about the format. Totally informal, exceptionally formal, weekly, monthly, adhoc? All men, all women, all young or all old, sector specific, dog lovers, golfers, walkers? Do you want membership fees or do you want to pay as you go? Who do you want to meet - friends, suppliers, customers, prospects, competition? Which do you prefer?
My preference is a mix of all the above but not every week - need to get some work done as well!
Here at BOSSco we have a number of different networks to meet the different needs of our customers. They include the Business Start Up Group, Fundemental Networking (making networking fun), The Ketso Club (collaborative problem solving) and our Pink Networking (29 October and 29 November) which is totally informal and raises money for charity. Please get in touch if you would like to learn more about any of our networks. All these take place at our Gatley Business Store.
We are also hosting a Big Business Breakfast at Regus on 19 November during Global Entrepreneurship Week. Make sure you book your place.
